Make changes to improve your Feng Shui 

Ms. Huang, one of my clients, told me about her experience.

She had been sharing the goal with a friend of her to establish an enterprise of her own. As a result, they decided to put the fund together to run a fashion store, which she leased for over 600 sq. ft. from a mart in the vicinity of the residential quarters. As her brother-in-law, Mr. Lee, had been bound up in the study of Feng Shui for more than twenty years, Ms. Huang invited him to perform a Feng Shui review for her store. 

Mr. Lee asked Ms. Huang to put an aquarium in the northeast sector and have 9 fishes inside. In addition, the cash register was required to place in the northwest. He also helped to lay the aquarium and cash register on a lucky day.

After the completion of the decoration works, Ms. Huang opened the business at a propitious time which is instructed by Mr. Lee. The store seemed to be a real success in the first quarter, however, since the 4th month, the business slowed down obviously, it could not even manage to reach the break-even point at the time. In the end, she had to resort to me for advice. 

After making a scrutiny and careful measurement of the store, I found out the major problem was resulted from the aquarium in the northeast sector which is the area dispelling fortune. Then I asked, 'Ms. Huang, what the school of Feng Shui does your brother-in-law belong to? Did he learn Feng Shui from a Master'

Ms. Huang replied, 'He used to follow an old master to study Feng Shui, but I have no idea about what the school is. He told me the northeast was the auspicious sector, it would bring wealth by putting an aquarium here.'

I meditated for a while, knowing that he did make the right choice for the propitious sector, but was wrong in placing the aquarium. It is probably because he had not gone deep enough into the true essence. But I held my tongue for that.

‘The northeast will actually blow away the wealth, so I suggest you move the aquarium to another sector.?I told Ms. Huang. 

She doubted: 'If the northeast is unfavorable for wealth and prosperity, why could it be so successful at the beginning'

'When was your store opened?' I asked her.

Ms. Huang then told me the exact date of its opening. It is indeed an auspicious timing as I calculated. I explained to her the reason behind: 'The effects of choosing the right day will show up very soon. Although the layout is somewhat destructive to your Feng Shui, you are very fortunate to have the propitious day to open your business. In result, the business had been thriving in the first hundred days, however, as time went by, the influence of Feng Shui in the store itself will take effect.'

I provided her an improved layout that was favorable to bring wealth and fortune to her.

I. Move the aquarium from the northeast to the east, it will be propitious to promote the business and enhance wealth luck. 
II. Place a mist fountain in the southwest sector, it will support the business thriving and attract more customers.
III. The cash register that was in the northwest is suggested to move to the north sector, it will create an abundance of wealth and prosperity. 

A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Ms. Huang, said she was very excited about her business as it turned to be much better and even more successful after she followed my suggestion. She had found a new location for one more store and would like to ask me to help her have a Feng Shui check again.

From this case, we can learn the impact of layout to your Feng Shui. Sometimes it is simply the positioning of an aquarium, cash register and potted landscape that will change the whole thing greatly. If those articles are improperly placed, the auspicious energy will drain away. Instead, if there is a skilled and tactful arrangement, it can turn the unfavorable into the favorable and bring an abundance of fortune. In the case, the placement of cash register is especially critical to the success of retail business.
